Chain Mode — Ricocheto

Chain Mode replaces the single-target rule with a simultaneous multi-target win condition. Each round places several colored targets on the 16×16 grid, and each target is tied to a specific robot color. You win only when every target robot is resting on its matching target cell at the same time — not one after another. Your final move must lock all positions together.

Strategy shifts away from optimizing a single robot path. You now have to coordinate multiple slide chains and make sure that maneuvering one robot does not accidentally evict another from a target it already reached. Helper-stopper thinking still applies, but the danger of cascading displacement grows quickly with each additional target, so reverse planning from each target lane in parallel is the most reliable approach.

Reset the round any time to try a shorter solution, and use the in-game guide to review the rules. There is no time limit and no leaderboard in Chain Mode — it is a strategic side mode designed for players who already understand classic single-target Ricocheto and want a deeper spatial-planning challenge. Keyboard, touch, and mouse controls are all supported.
